Bhagwan Birsa Munda Museum

Directed by Rajan, this multiple screen and holography installation runs at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Museum, situated at the Old Central Jail in Ranchi where the tribal icon had breathed his last. It was inaugurated on November 15th, 2021 by PM Modi and CM Soren.
Birsa Munda (1875-1900) was an Indian tribal freedom fighter. He spearheaded a tribal religious millenarian movement that arose in the Bengal Presidency (now Jharkhand) in the late 19th century during the British Raj, thereby making him an important figure in the history of the Indian independence movement.
